Of the 24 required hours: 3 must be in ethics (classroom or online), 9 must be 'Core' credits completed live/in-person or hands-on, and the remaining 12 elective/core hours may be completed online.
Licensure by Endorsement
Applicants must hold a current, unrestricted license in good standing from another state, DC, or a U.S. territory; have practiced continuously in that jurisdiction for at least 2 years immediately prior; have passed a standardized, nationally administered exam; hold current CPR certification; be at least 18; and meet Delaware's good-standing background criteria. The Board reviews transcripts and licensure history for equivalence to Delaware's own standards.
